Description of Efficient Core Tools CT118 Tire Iron Set for Easy Tire Changing

Because changing a tire often requires more than one tire iron, this set includes two 8-1/2" Tire Irons. At 8-1/2 inches (220mm) long and weighing just 4-3/4 ounce, this tire iron is long enough for necessary leverage, but small enough to fit into most packs, saddlebags, or tank bags. One end is flat for holding and prying with the other curved for a better grip on the bead with rounded edges to help avoid tube pinching and tire damage. I-Beam cross section increases strength and bend resistance without added weight. Made from high quality drop forged steel then heat treated for strength and durability.

Really helped me get the tire back on the rim after changing the tube and I didn't have to worry about damaging the tube like I used to do with screwdrivers.

Pros
  • screwdrivers. One end is flat for holding and prying and the other is curved to better grip the bead, with rounded edges to prevent hose pinching and of the tire to avoid . Damage
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
