I like the idea but the execution is terrible. The plastic hook creaks continuously with every stitch. This is unsuitable for me. Even if I turn on music to drown out the creaking, I still feel the friction the creaking causes in my hands :( I was going to love this like that!

5 stars as I am losing my sight due to a brain tumor so due to shadows I have only been able to crochet in broad daylight and during the day I am so busy but with these the area I am working in is well lit and i can now crochet at night after i lay down to rest. I'm not saying his headlight is bright because it isn't, but it does define the area I'm working on.

Really cool idea, but there are a few design flaws, one worse than the other, 1) the power button positioned right where my pinky will rub against it while I'm working on a crochet project, and this happens regardless of whether it's enabled or not. The button is kind of sharp, not smooth, hence uncomfortable. In other words, it's likely to cause a blister on my finger if I'm doing a big project unfortunately. 2) The actual light in the hook is EXTREMELY BRIGHT! In fact, it's almost too bright…
