LOUD PUMP! - Internal components

Moved here from h100i and very disappointed! The pump works at three speeds; Quiet at 2000 rpm, balanced at 2500 rpm and powerful at 3000 rpm. My computer is hanging on my desk behind a monitor and this pump is annoyingly loud! I was able to adjust my old H100i's pump curve to increase with CPU temperature, but only when surfing the web and with normal use did this pump silently run at 1800rpm. This pump cannot be configured the same way! You can set your own curve for the fans (which are also…

Expensive defective product with poor service

Two days after submitting a support ticket I downgraded my rating to one star simply because I received another lame offer from Corsair. I don't know why it took them two days to tell me to update the firmware which I checked and updated first when it wasn't working properly. This is one of the most expensive coolers in its class. I received it and it took me half a day to replace the existing cooler. After everything is done, the LEDs on the pump will not light up. I called Corsair customer…

The pump isn't noisy, it's RGB

When I first installed this cooler, it ran at very high RPM and was very noisy. I tried a few things, installing drivers etc but nothing worked until I noticed that the temp sensor on the cooler was warmer than the temp sensor on the CPU which is ridiculous. I googled and indeed a few people pointed out that the higher temperatures are coming from RGB. So in the end, RGB was completely useless and I had to turn it off to silence the fans. I'm not disappointed as I had little interest in RGB but

Great product, setup for AM4 sucks

I had an older H100 when I was running AMD FX-8320 (Socket AM3+) and loved it, but when I upgraded to Ryzen 7 2700 (Socket AM4), I decided to upgrade my cooler as well, the pipes from the pump to the cooler are nice and flexible, long too. But the tools to install on an AM4 socket are a problem. Instead of removing the standard screw clamps to hold the pump on top of the CPU using the backplate on the motherboard, it uses Butt, the plastic clamps that come with the motherboard, and uses a very…
