Improved management

Always be suspicious of plug-in fixes. It was easy enough to experiment with, so I gave it a try. Of course, I needed to improve the handling of my 2007 Suburban. Before that I had a 2001 Suburban with "oldtech" 5.3. It got 18+ mpg on the freeway at an average speed of 75 mph. This "new tech" 5.3 with all the AFM, alternator shutdown, etc. gets 16+ under the same conditions, along with various crazy shift patterns when driving around town or in street situations that require upshifting andโ€ฆ

It's worth it so your V8 can run like a V8.

Purchased for my 2017 GMC Sierra Elevation. I've had this hooked up to my machine for a month. For the first week or so I turned it off every time I got out of the car because I read it could drain the battery. Now I just leave it on. To be honest I think for those claiming that it killed their battery while sitting it was probably just a coincidence. So far I have no complaints. He does what he has to. Allows your V8 to work like a V8. The only downside is that my gas mileage is down 3 or 4โ€ฆ

Can cause serious problems!

I am very disappointed to have to write this review. I had high hopes for all the positive reviews that were written. I connected the product to the OBD2 port, waited a few minutes, started the car, the check engine light came on immediately. My Suburban is 9 years old, I am the original owner and have driven less than 100,000 miles and I have never had a check engine light for some reason. I decided to call Range Technology support and ask them about the device and their recommendations. Iโ€ฆ
