I love these shorts. Fairly deep front pockets and right back pocket and they are long (major ups). They're made out of a pretty heavy material and I'm pretty sure I can wear them all year round in Tampa. (Unless it gets cold) Caution: (Before putting the shorts in the washing machine, tie the string in a knot)

My husband loves them to laze around at home on mild summer evenings. They are made from normal strength training material and are slightly tight on sports shorts. My husband has medium sized pants or a size 34 in pants but I ordered a large after reading reviews saying they were a bit small. However, these shorts are quite long, my 5ft 10in husband is mid-knee, but he likes them. Because they're made from a cotton blend, I didn't notice any shrinkage in the wash.

Pretty comfortable shorts. I bought them mainly for the beach and just to relax in my free time. I have any waist size from 34 to 36 and size XL fits me. I also really like the belt on these shorts. It's a slight compression from the waistband that makes me feel like the shorts fit snugly without having to tie my laces.

Bought these as I am having achilles tendon surgery and have a cast on my lower leg so no long pants until fall. I ordered a very large (large is my usual size but I played it safe) and they tend to be medium. I will give them to a skinny friend. Otherwise they are great: solid and seem to be very well made.

I wasn't at all sure about the thick and wide belt. I have back problems and was afraid it would be too much, too tight, but after a week or so I found they might be too comfortable and now I have to order more. I'm 5'10" with a 32" waist and I think the medium and large sizes fit me about the same. I don't even use a tie cord, although that's nice. Length below the knees. are perfect for me and the material is soft and lined which gives them some value.I just wish they came in more colors.

Excellent, thick but not too thick for summer, durable. Perfect fit and they come to the knee, this is important to my husband, he likes the loose look if that makes sense, not gangster but not tight either. Goodbye

I am a fanatic of elastic rubber bands in my 50's. My waste comes in different sizes, belly and hips. The waistband is much more comfortable than the drawstring shorts which, on my smaller size, keep falling down and then getting too big. I'm about 6,220, not huge. These shorts have a very wide ribbing - maybe 2 inches +. They're like sweatpants. Super comfortable. Highly recommended. I did not subscribe to the style of clothing that requires shorts to fit the size of the hips and a sagging…

Very comfortable and seems to be well made. They're a bit baggy, which I like so they don't get stuck on me. The 2 front pockets are lower than shorts like these which is a bonus. The back pocket/wallet pocket isn't too tight so you don't have to try to squeeze your wallet in. The tie is longer than most similar shorts. So if you try to tie her, you will have enough to prevent her from getting too short.

These shorts are exactly what I was looking for in terms of length, freedom and price. 2 inches below the knee, the shorts are loose but not oversized, with extra room in the crotch area, and to top it off, they're made from durable sweatpants with deep pockets. Very happy with my purchase!

It's hard to rate the quality of the shorts because they didn't fit me at all as expected. The descriptions and reviews led me to believe these are roomy shorts, but they are a very tight fit. I got the size indicated in the size chart but they still didn't fit. If you don't have flared legs like me and want roomy shorts, go up a size.
