Great craft pliers - won't harm your project

These pliers are just what I needed so I could manipulate my work without damaging surfaces. The nylon jaws are strong enough to handle wire, thin metal, and lightweight chain links or jump rings. The absence of metal sponges allows me not to worry about damaging the surface of these parts while working. Pros: Nylon is durable and allows you to manipulate work. the pliers have a good weight - they lie well in the hand. - Prevents damage to finished projects for a more pleasing overall look…

They also come in handy when making spirals. After making the first loop with round nose pliers, I use the tips of my nylon pliers to grab the loop and begin the spiral. It works very well and doesn't dent my metal. Note. The nylon material on the inside of the…

Not at all please

I found the nylon parts on this one to be very stiff(?) and not as flexible as other brands. I would even say they are more plastic than nylon. It didn't straighten my wire like I wanted because the pads have to "absorb" the wire more. You have to hold them much tighter than the others, and more often than not your wire just slips off the side. Actually because of them I accidentally bent the wire because it slipped and I hit something. They also leave stains which my older couple didn't have…

Pros
  • Reduce the thickness of the sterling silver wire by passing the wire through the jaws several times
Cons
  • No instructions
