The announcement is misleading. This is a cover for an existing pad. The item description states that it is a bezel. This should be called a face condom.

Slightly thinner than expected. It's more comfortable than bare Rift foam, however, and does a really good job of preventing the Rift foam from getting wet after a long Beat Saber session.

Works like a charm, attaches in seconds, simply slides right over Rift's existing foam face pad. Ideal for any VR session where you might be sweating profusely and don't want to soak the foam pad in sweat.

Not only is it not at all what I imagined it does, it doesn't do what it's supposed to do, not only doesn't protect against sweat but it does makes me sweat more and it makes the marks on my face more visible but it's very uncomfortable but then again you get what you pay for

It is quite thick and not very close to the face, causing light leakage. I don't know why but it's very uncomfortable especially in the forehead area, after wearing it for only half an hour I had to stop playing because my forehead hurt. Overall I wouldn't use it most of the time, just wear it for certain games that make me sweat.

This was a nice upgrade on my Oculus Rift s. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it. The silicone is fairly thin but holds its shape enough to slide over the original foam. It stays in place well, although it tends to trigger the top-centre face activation sensor if you don't retract it properly.
