This was a nice upgrade on my Oculus Rift s. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it. The silicone is fairly thin but holds its shape enough to slide over the original foam. It stays in place well, although it tends to trigger the top-centre face activation sensor if you don't retract it properly. I think it helped cool my head because the foam doesn't absorb sweat allowing my skin to benefit from evaporative cooling. Not slippery, therefore does not require tighter clamping of the headband.
