It does not work with steering and suspension tools.

Tried on a Jeep Wrangler and a Dodge Durango engine Neither of them worked The hooks that go to the camshaft are too thick so I couldn't hook onto the roof and compress the valve spring

Pros
  • Rebuild - A special tool for compressing the valve springs and accessing the retaining ring needed when replacing the valve springs. You can also switch to a rocker arm puller to remove the camshaft, rocker arm and hydraulic lash adjusters on 3.7L and 4.7L engines.
Cons
  • Almost never

The perfect tool for the job

I bought this to replace the valve stem seals on a 2001 Durango. Great price for a special tool. Worked great! Just make sure you have a good foot on the camera so you don't let your keeper walk through the magazine!

Pros
  • SUPERIOR QUALITY - CNC machined heavy duty steel with a black anodized finish, durability, corrosion and rust resistance, high precision and hardness for a much longer life.
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Bad Chrysler Tool Copy

According to the advertising text, they are CNC milled, but they are not. The part I received was a Chinese cast iron copy, started to bend at the 2nd valve and no longer held the camshaft. Bought a real Chrysler and although it cost a few dollars more it is ten times better made and finished than this junk. .

Pros
  • EXCELLENT COMPATIBILITY - Fits 199-2003 Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler 3.7L & 4.7L Engines. This combo tool is similar but more powerful than the originals.
Cons

Unreliable Tool

Used to replace valve stem seals on my buddy's 4.7 ram 1500. By the 8th spring we noticed the tool was badly bent, and by the 12th or so it was completely unusable. Luckily I was able to bend it gently and finish the job. Great design but the manufacturer makes a very very poor low quality instrument.

Pros
  • Simplified Operation - Replacement for Miller 8426, 8387, 8516A and 10102. This tool is safe to use without damaging the camshaft or camshaft lobes.
Cons
  • Requires bushing
