Works great, the wiring was a bit fiddly, but if you've ever hooked up a controller, it's the same here. Tons of power on a 9c motor from a 72v battery. Just watch the pedals when the engine kicks back for the first time, mine gave me a black eye!

to use it to control an alternator connected to a 3-phase motor. 4 Ryobi 18v batteries in series for my project, there are 3D printed adapters that attach to the batteries. Now you need to retrieve that power with the accelerator pedal. The belt continues to fly through the torque.

Works great on my 1000-watt 52-volt rear-wheel drive e-bike. The only big bummer is the inability to connect a display to it to read voltages and such. I connected the "switch" wire to the 52v battery wire. I made all the connections, connected the self-learning wires, the wheel turned in the opposite direction as it should. So far this controller is fine. It is more powerful than the replacement and larger. I've bought several controllers and while this one is more expensive, its performance certainly justifies the cost. Mostly standard connections, but some wires are unique. For example, I'm not sure what is required for an alarm clock to work. I bought this to replace the 20amp controller I was using with a Crystalyte 409 wheel motor.I got lucky and the motor and Hall wire colors matched perfectly. So far the controller has been great. I didn't use most of the controller's functions and mostly just use the throttle with a key switch. Now all I need is a more powerful battery to see the benefits of a more powerful controller.
