Small wick holders were just what I needed. They worked great and were a lot cheaper than local craft and hobby stores. Simply insert the wick into the holder, press down with a small pair of pliers, cut the wick to length and make someone a professional candle.

I have recently been making tea lights and had to trim the finished wicks I received. I used them for the trimmed wick pieces and was able to double my wicks for 2/3 the cost of new ones. Worked well and I used crimping pliers instead of pliers which kept the bottoms from bending. Very happy!

Note: This was my first time making candles. But like I said, they worked great. I mean how different can one brand be from another? So I bought them mainly because of the price, they are cheap and they do their job! What more can you ask for? The bottom lay perfectly flat, nicely packaged, the metal was very shiny (if that matters), and it was very easy to pierce the wick (with a thick beeswax wick). TIP: I used hot glue to center it along the bottom. You can also use a drop of hot candle wax.
