little and little noise

I had to cut off the leads as they were not working leads and did not conduct electricity. The DMM didn't give me a reading until I turned it off, and then it gave me the correct reading in ohms for the speaker. not loud at all. It's more of a tiny toy speaker than anything else.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • makes me angry

Works well with amplifier

They work fairly well but if you are using a PCB just make sure you have the components to build the amplifier circuit. Otherwise the volume will be very low.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Requires socket

Not the worst, but not the best either

For $8 (and two speakers) it's not that bad, just don't expect them to get richer. their level of quality, and just know how much you're spending on these two speakers. If you understand this, these speakers will not cause you any problems. They are very easy to use, just connect them to your amp and you're done.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Very cool little speakers

I've used one of these on a little robot I'm building. I have a small audio amplifier (from Revain) to drive a speaker. This allows you to programmatically add sound effects to the bot.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Negative result available

Fits Tamiya MFC Sound Modules

Works great for what I wanted it for. Used for MFU-03 speaker on 1/14 scale Tamiya RC Truck. Sounds just as good as the stock speaker but takes up less than 1/4 the space.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • 0

Not the worst, but not the best

For $8 (and two speakers) it's not that bad but don't expect godlike quality from them, know how much you're paying for these two output speakers . If you understand this, these columns will not cause you any problems. They are very easy to use, just connect them to your amp and you're done.

Pros
  • Single Board Computer
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Slightly better than expected

Slightly better than expected. Used it to make the Galaxy Note 2 louder than 80% of phones available. So it's probably just as loud or slightly louder than most phone speakers, but it does add a bit of depth based on its physical properties alone. I play both this speaker and my phone's speaker. It's a super niche thing, but I wanted to do it. For the other 3 people in the world who want to do this, post a comment and I'll make a video on how

Pros
  • Computer components
Cons
  • Uncertain

Works with Respeaker 2 mic HAT

I bought this to use as a Google Assistant speaker on my Raspberry Pi 4 with Respeaker 2 mic HAT. I wanted to connect a base 3.5mm speaker but I didn't want it to work. First I tried using headphones with a very long cable and maximum volume and it worked, but the Raspberry Pi started overheating. I tried this JST based speaker and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. It's clear and loud enough to call me when I'm talking to someone else. The temperature readings remained normal. Since it
