🦀 Enhance Your Hermit Crab's Habitat with the Crabworx Water Dish Review

I bought this to replace a small dish of hermit crabs that had cracks. It's a good size, doesn't leak and you can watch our crabs doing their thing from time to time. I'm not talking about hermit crabs, but I think they love them.

On April 7th I bought 2 of these to hold water for my hermit crabs. It is now May 20th and one of them is flowing from below. Seems to be a struggle with water bowls and my fish tank. Now I'm on the 3rd brand, I hope this one doesn't run out either.

Never order this item. I used it for salt water for my germs and the plastic laminate started bubbling and popping. It smelled like acetone which is toxic! If you bought this, THROW IT OUT before your crabs get sick. From now on I will only stick to porcelain.

We have larger hermit crabs that tend to tip over lighter water bowls, but they can't tip over. So that the little crabs don't get into too much water, we put a sponge in the middle. It's big enough that you don't have to refill it every day (usually every other day to keep the water fresh).

I bought this shell because it was specially designed for hermit crabs and because I like its natural color. I used it for my fresh water bowl. I can't say I'm very happy with this bowl. It gets very slimy very quickly. When I try to wash it with hot water (no soap) every day, it never seems to get clean enough. The interior paint has even started to wear off. I didn't have this problem with Zoo Med Bright Bowl, Red Hermit Crab. At night I use red bowls for salt water and fresh food. This bowl…
