This set is definitely worth the money. The blade itself is worth the money. I really want to like the knife but it has a blade on both ends which is good but the caps don't like to stay on one that isn't being used. The screw on the blade holder is not tight and the blade may come loose.

The rug arrived exactly as expected. I am disappointed in the knife. The blade tries to fall out every time I use it. Be careful not to accidentally loosen the screw on the handle. Also, there was nothing in the kit that could reliably cover the point, which surprised me. Usually with such a sharp blade they cover something.

I bought this mat because it is a great price just for the cutting mat which is very good quality. Everything else was just a bonus. The knife is decently made although I'm not sure why they made it reversible it seems like a bad and somewhat dangerous idea. I use one blade at a time. The blades tend to loosen a bit at times. Tightening the inner blade holder and then the outer ring helps somewhat. The included blades are pretty bad; I was able to sharpen them a little with a knife sharpener…
