Crafter's Companion Low Tack Tape for Paper and Card Crafting Projects - Pack of 3, White, US One Size Review

This is the ideal die-cut tape. You'll need it to hold the stamp on the paper, but you should be able to peel it off without taking the paper fibers with you! This band is designed to do just that.

I ordered this because my favorite purple ribbon was out of stock. I thought it was white fuzzy band so it was very hard for me to see. Sometimes it sticks well and sometimes it doesn't. He also picked up any small debris left on the cutting plates.

This tape is not only tacky, it feels tacky too. It tears your paper and sticks to everything. I tried making cards out of it and had to scrape it off the stamps. It's unclear how he received so many high ratings. The production process may have changed, but I don't see anything useful in this feed.

After seeing this tape being used in so many CC demos I was very pleased with the purchase. However, I have found that removing this tape after the die and paper has gone through the press is difficult enough to remove that it will actually rip some of the cardboard and paper. Often the cut has to be repeated. I would choose a less durable glue if it was just easier to peel off.

The Crafters Companion knows how to make a paper band that keeps items in place. I use it to position stamps on paper before going through my BIG SHOT die. I also use it to hold the stencil in place. I use them several times. I found out that he draws the design on thin paper like a magazine. (If, like me, you're using pictures from magazines in your journal, just plan ahead and use liquid glue like Mod Podge.)
