I bought this peeler for a friend who loves Fortessa products, it came as part of a set. He liked how easily he could peel the fruit to add to his drink and the construction is solid.

The Y-shaped knife is small and the handle is flat, making it difficult to hold. It looks very nice, but because of that, it was difficult for me to use it. I also didn't find the cutting blade that sharp. I'm considering buying another scrub.

I'm just a humble home bartender, but this is the best tool I have. It's very specific to its particular purpose and does it very well. It's very easy to use and feels good in your hand while you're making the garnish. Highly recommended!

I'm a professional bartender and these are more difficult to handle than cheap plastic wrappers. I've tried it on ripe lemons and soft lemons and couldn't get the zest. Due to the high price of this item, there may be a defect. I ended up throwing mine in the trash and going back to the cheap plastic ones.

I love this tool! I used a master knife but wasn't happy with the width of the strips produced (too narrow). The Crafthouse has slightly wider stripes and fits better in the hand due to the shape of the handle. I can keep the blade in better contact with the fruit and get longer strips that can then be cut for custom drinks. These tools do a small job, but I think this one does the best job.
