I don't know what happened to Craftsman but this is the LAST product I will be buying with their name on them. 2 years ago I bought a Craftsman lawn mower which turned out to be a big junk. When I needed to replace my cordless drill I bought the same brand I was replacing, Craftsman. Big mistake! Battery life is ridiculously short and bits won't stay in the keyless chuck. You make 3 or 4 drills in one piece of wood and the drill stays in the board with the last drill. NEVER AGAIN!

Overall this is a pretty good tool for the money. The only thing I dislike about this and every other cordless drill I've had is the inability to loosen and tighten the chuck by hand when changing a bit that you might be using. I do a lot of woodworking and am constantly changing my bits from a drill to a counter plunge and a phillips bit and every time I change a drill I have to manually loosen the drill and then manually tighten it. Got this on sale so was a great price but even at regular retail price this drill is very good Quality I like that it has a spare battery so one can be charged quickly while you use the other. It's frustrating when you need a drill and the battery is low. These batteries even have a little indicator on the back so you know in advance how much charge is left.
