It just works as it should

This tool works exactly as I expected. It's nice that the Master's name has survived and not gone down the Dodo route now that Sears is essentially defunct.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Do not buy they are not worth it

I do not understand how these scissors are made, I have to open them, then I have to close them with 2 hands and also cut the smallest wire. Unfazed sir, you have finally failed me after 50 years. Well, another tool to sell at the next flea market.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • no instructions

Don't take this: Pliers

Compound action trick means opening the handle MUCH more than one hand allows the tool to open the cutting side wide enough to pick it all up. This basically makes this tool requires two hands to operate and it is very inconvenient. As if that wasn't enough, the tip broke off after the second use. Don't waste time, take a regular pair.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Not the best tool for a woman's hand

Very bulky and doesn't cut tight enough to leave sharp edges. Need a spring-loaded handle to help open it. My hands are obviously too small to comfortably hold the size. I also have to use both hands to push to cut as it's not the sharpest tool or the easiest to use. To be honest I'd happily return it and find something simpler that's able to do what I need it to do. Almost tempted to throw it away and just get a Dremel cutting tool. It would be easier. I make and sell rabbit hutches so a lotโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Exactly what I needed!

I've only used this for a couple of cuts so far so this might be a first check if what happened in some of the other reviews happens if I keep using it. It seems to be exactly what I needed. I have good wire cutters, but they aren't strong enough to cut thick wire (used to make wreath frames). Every time I needed to cut a frame I had to ask my husband to do it for me. And it was even difficult for him. So I bought these CRAFTSMAN side cutters. Not only are they heavier and stronger than theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Copes with its task on the pliers

I ordered this to replace an old MIT brand 6 inch wire cutter which has now been lost. I also have an Irwin 4" cutter, so the 6" cutter is needed when the size is needed for either extra leverage or more material to cut. I use this tool to cut jumper wires, small electrical wires, zip ties, etc. and it works great for my purposes. The grip is comfortable enough given that it's a limited use tool, but I found it a little tight in the very beginning (maybe at most the first 5%) of its openingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear
