These pens write smoothly on glass and the colors are clearly visible. They were perfect for decorating my girlfriend's car for her retirement. I didn't take them out to reuse, but I hope the ends of the sponge don't dry out. It's been 3 weeks and I just checked. They still flow easily. They were the perfect size for writing and drawing. I've never had to wash the windows in the car, but I've heard no complaints from a friend.

We used this window writer set to decorate the graduation lettering for our daughter's car. Pros: They worked better than any other pens I bought. They are lighter, thicker and more durable. Cons: They drip onto the paintwork and can chip the car's paintwork. In addition, they are difficult to remove. Plan to drive through the car wash a few times to get rid of the marker. Even if you accidentally hit the rubber parts of the window with the marker, it will not come off.

Unfortunately the photo is not attached but I painted my car windows this color on the first day of my senior year. I used white, blue and red. The red and blue are quite opaque, while the white is a bit streaked. It didn't bother me too much, but keep this in mind if you're looking for a really opaque pure white color.
