These tempera paints work great! We love Crayola and they didn't disappoint! They have excellent coverage and bright colors. I love that they are washable so I don't have to worry about kids getting dirty. Will definitely be buying again for all of our home art projects.

I expected it to be more useful but it's my nephews fault, no pencils. Very happy with it, I gifted it for my birthday and my nephew loved them, he used them continuously for a month before using them all. I liked that they come in primary colors, which is a great tool for teaching them how color mixing works.

This paint soiled my children's hands, their clothes, the wooden table they were painting on and our driveway. Your clothes are literally ruined. Forgive me for thinking that washable really means washable. THIS WILL NOT BE FLUSHED. After seeing what happened after the first round, I let her put on the old clothes, but it was still very difficult to remove them from her skin and surroundings. After the 3rd round I threw the paint away. Not worth the headache. We'll stick with the watercolor.

was expecting something washable as it clearly says "washable tempera". My son's t-shirt has been washed 4 times and it's still stained blue so doesn't wash much. In addition, local children painted the cement lion statue blue. 4 days later it rained like crazy and the thing is still blue (as is my wall underneath). I understand this may not wash on cement or masonry blocks due to the porous service, but be careful and put old shirts on your kids first.

These paints are bright, creamy and easy to use, but don't believe the washable label; Crayola's REALLY washable paint is called easy washable paint or children's paint. According to their website, this washable tempera is actually only moderately washable ("washes hands well"). I only found out about this after our clothes were stained even though we used a stain remover in the wash! I think it's still a great color but maybe not for the youngest artists who might get dirty.

Very affordable price. Ideal for finger and brush painting. My little one was covered from head to toe the first day he used them and it washed off easily in the tub with no scrubbing or soap. The water just washed away. It also washed off my clothes easily, which got hit when I picked it up to take it to the bathroom. I love this color! The price is very cheap, the color is bright, the color is thick so it won't spread, but the best part is that it can be washed. My 3 year old has this color everywhere: carpet, hardwood floors, his and my clothes, his sister's hair. He came out of it all with some water and a very small scraper.
