Cheaply made but good shade block.

Well, it is pretty cheaply made and if used as a fence, it would simply blow over in the first wind. However, I bought this as a cover for my pergola instead of a more expensive replacement tarp. And it works just fine for that purpose as it is lightweight and acts as a great shade block. I rated it two stars overall because the price is exorbitant considering the product which grows as a weed in some countries. I guess the shipping is factored into that as it is a bulk mailing. Had it not been

Pros
  • Provides a natural boundary without obstructing views
Cons
  • The natural texture of bamboo may splinter or flake off over time

Not bad, worked well for our Tiki Garden

As other reviewers have stated, at first it didn't look the greatest. But once it is up it looks rustic and tropical. The bamboo is thin (it is strips of bamboo) but it is sturdy enough. I got 3 ft garden stakes and staked it every 3 feet and attached with zip ties and it worked well. Took about 20 mins to set up. See attached pic, our Tiki garden this year Polynesian Tiki Masks also from Revain. For the price it does the job.

Pros
  • Can be used as a backdrop for garden features
Cons
  • The fencing may be too flimsy to support heavy objects or equipment, such as ladders or lawn mowers

Piece of Garbage in my review

The product is over a foot less in length than described. It got some errant water splashed on it and it’s molded and now I have to throw it out. It’s less than sturdy, coming apart, and it smelled bad upon opening. Not to mention the pieces are so far apart it does not even fulfill its primary functions. It was a waste of money and now I have to spend more money replacing it and time/energy figuring out how to take out this broken POS and install a new one.

Pros
  • Can be cut to fit any size space
Cons
  • The bamboo may bend or warp, leading to an uneven appearance

Natural Style good for me

Very sturdy, yet flexible. Great value - compared to local options, especially. Seems somewhat shorter than 13 feet long, however. Got the job done though, and with style. Very effective as vegetable garden fencing. We paired ours with solar string lights for fun. Looks cool for backyard entertaining.

Pros
  • Can be used as a boundary marker
Cons
  • The natural color of the fencing may clash with certain types of flowers or plants

Depends I guess on how bad a view youre covering up.

The picture is a close close close up to an area where the bamboo was magically tighter than anywhere on mine. I got it to hide my A/C from my patio and it does do this.it does look cheap, but it is likely more attractive than an A/C so Ill keep it. Others though will be really disappointed. My better half has described it as tacky.

Pros
  • Use for fencing or screening
Cons
  • The height of the fencing may not be sufficient to provide effective protection against trespassers

Would purchase again

I purchased this to "wrap" around a safari-theme cart kind of thing I built for a church event. Think "tiki bar", but not a bar. ;0). It worked great. I used a staple gun to attach the bamboo fencing to the cart. You could use zip ties to attach the bamboo fence to a wire fence. I used needle nose pliers to clip the excess fencing for my project. I think this would be a good product to use on an apartment balcony to provide privacy. It looks like it would be weather proof for a year or two when

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • The weight of the product may make it difficult to handle or transport

Read below.: my feedback

Ok, so I'm giving this three stars because on the one hand it really is a total piece of sh%*t. It's flimsy and the slats fall through the wire pretty easily. However, mounted decoratively up against my solid fence (which is what I bought it for), it looks great. It's inexpensive, so you get what you pay for. So for my uses it works out, however if you want to mount it to chain link for privacy etc., it won't work. Too easy to see through and I'm sure it's not that weather resistant if it's not

Pros
  • Budget-friendly
Cons
  • The fencing may not be tall enough to provide adequate privacy or shade

DO NOT BUY THIS for my opinion

Judging by the picture given, this seems like a nice rustic feeling "bamboo" fence to have in a garden or balcony of some sort.I originally purchased it as a cover for my balcony. Upon opening I was shocked at how horrible the quality was. Pieces of bamboo snapped in half, falling out of the tiny little wire that supposedly holds them together. It's almost as if someone went into a scrap wood pile and tied a bunch of ratty twigs together then put them on amazon for $40.Did I mention…

Pros
  • Adds a decorative element to your garden
Cons
  • The natural color of the bamboo can be affected by exposure to sunlight, leading to uneven coloring

It was fine for what I was using it for so I .

The picture is deceiving because of the color. It is a natural bamboo product. I read the reviews and checked the reviewers pictures before I purchased this fencing. It was fine for what I was using it for so I purchased it anyway and am happy with it.

Pros
  • Provides a barrier for unwanted solicitation
Cons
  • The bamboo may emit a strong odor when wet or damp

Looks beautiful!: my feedback

We love this bamboo fence for our patio! Still let’s light in but not our neighbors curious stares! We wanted it for privacy but also safety. Easy to install and comes in good packaging.

Pros
  • Provides a natural backdrop for garden photography
Cons
  • The fencing may not be suitable for use in areas with high fire risk

Cheap item on my review.

Cheap construction, bamboo has black moldy spots, stringy fibers hanging down all around, manufacturer didnt take much time to clean bamboo or just chose bad materials.

Pros
  • Provides a barrier for noise reduction
Cons
  • The fencing may not be suitable for use in areas with high levels of pollution or air contaminants

Rustic bamboo in my review

I love how it looks on my little patio. It’s rustic and smells so good, very organic. I’m not sure about it’s durability. Ask me in a year when I move. But it gives just enough privacy and lets in some sunlight. Overall, I’m very happy. My neighbors have all complemented how nice it looks.

Pros
  • Perfect size and fit. Install was easy too. I’m very satisfied this product.
Cons
  • Maintenance of the fencing requires extra effort and care

not like the photo on my review.

The color is flat, yellow, tan, not warm, natural, auburn in parts like the photo. The slats are much larger/wider than they appear in the photo, they are spaced far apart with wire connecting each slat. The wiring looks like shoddy construction, an arts and crafts project. The wiring does not neatly wrap each slat to fix it to the next. It kind of looks like paperclips were unraveled and used to twist tie one slat to the next. There is dirt and dust in the bag like it was packaged in a jungle…

Pros
  • Can be used to create a natural look around your pool
Cons
  • The fencing may not be effective in deterring human intruders who are determined to enter the garden

Privacy screen on my review.

You can still see through it a little, but it does the job of giving some privacy. I would definitely get this again, and it arrived quickly.

Pros
  • Natural look blends with any setting
Cons
  • The natural texture of bamboo can cause splinters, which can be painful to handle

did the job - my new review

as long as you put a post every four feet this is an acceptable fence. I used it to fence my dogs in and used 9 sections and it looks great. The only question is how it will hold up. 2 weeks in is way to early to say.

Pros
  • Protects your garden from animals
Cons
  • The height of the fencing may not be consistent throughout the entire structure

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not for privacy. - my new review

Bamboo slats are not nearly as close together as the picture would lead you to believe. The picture does not match what was received. Offers little privacy.

Pros
  • Gardman R647 Split Bamboo Fencing, 13' Long x 5' High. Nice. Helps screen off neighbors
Cons
  • Installation can be difficult for those without experience in fence building

Revainrating 2 out of 5

NOT AS DESCRIBED best in my review

THE LENGTH IS NOT 13 FEET AS DESCRIBED . IT IS MORE LIKE 10 FEET LONG, ABSOLUTELY NOT LONGER THAN 10 FOOT. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Creates a barrier for individuals with physical disabilities
Cons
  • The product may be difficult to recycle or dispose of properly

Revainrating 2 out of 5

NOT what was pictured.

Product is NOT as shown in the picture. The constructions was flimsy wire that barely holds the bamboo, which is NOT the color reflected in the picture, so when held up off the ground at all, the sticks slide down and out of the wire. Do not waste your money unless you want to constantly adjust.

Pros
  • Adds privacy to balconies, decks, and patios
Cons
  • The fencing may be too delicate for use in areas with harsh weather conditions, such as hail or lightning

We use this to fence in our open railings from our baby. Standing alone this is very flimsy, 1/16" thick, but braced against our existing railing it is perfect and is a nice accent in our house. It has a rough finish, is natural in color. Outside it would definitely weather quickly without more urethane finish

Pros
  • Adds a natural touch to meditation spaces and yoga areas
Cons
  • The natural thickness and diameter of bamboo may vary from piece to piece, leading to uneven appearance
