Excellent pencils. Not as soft as Prisma, so less sharpening and fracturing. They are also similar to watercolor pencils in that you can add water with a brush before coloring or apply the pencil to a wet brush works great. Still too expensive but these I think are worth it.

I use Caran D'ache art often. And a live broadcast of the art stream. I love her watercolor pencils and how smooth yet vibrant they are. The package arrived a little late, but it came straight from the source, so that's understandable! I love these water-soluble pencils! They are smooth and easy to apply both dry and wet. Tips for tight lines. Mixing these cute crayons is a breeze, they practically melt into watercolor paper, both cellulose and 100% cotton, but I recommend sticking with cotton if you can afford the expense.
