Actually, I didn't even notice that the mats are made of paper. Durability is terrible, thickness is thin but there is no firmness. It's actually ok if you don't buy the expensive ones, but they aren't worth the price.

I wanted fancy plates for my birthday dinner but didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars. These placements have done their job. If you are good with it, you can use it more than once. I was very happy with the outcome of my table. I would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their table for less.

Nice little carpets. I used them to add some sparkle to the tables at a wedding reception. The sparkling round frames added that shiny touch we needed. My only gripe (and the reason I'm not giving 5 stars) is that they are cardboard. As soon as water from one of the vases hit one of them, it started to warp. So it is only suitable for one use when you don't use water on the table. All in all a great addition to an elegant place.

They are very beautiful! But absolutely not sustainable. It is a paper like material so I would consider it a single use or double use item. Don't expect them to grow into something you can feed your kids. My main issue was that they were paper based as some of the napkins got a little scratched in transit. I got them to use them on Instagram photos so scratching on them defeats the purpose, but if I could get them for a one-time use at dinner I'd absolutely love them.
