I am an avid quilter and appreciate the durability and design of this cutting mat. The size is perfect for my workplace.

Texture is great (giving away my slippery boards). Enjoy the variety of measurements available.

High visibility grid lines, double sided so goes really well with my Stripology line. I am very happy that the rug was delivered flat and not rolled.

I was ready to live with this cutting mat - Creative Grids makes great rulers! But I've had this mat for 2 1/2 months now, I've made about 20 potholders, tried changing the area used, rubbed the mat with an eraser once or twice and it still looks the same. battered, actually worse than the ones he replaced. I'll give it some more brushing and settling, but I don't feel like it should need that much attention already.

When I heard that Creative Grids had a cutting mat, I knew their mats would be better than anything else on the market. And like any serious patchwork quilt, I have it all. This one is undeniably the best. I hope you can see from this photo that it is about 2.5 times thicker than Olfa's rug. It heals fine and my blades cut better. I like that the markings on my rulers are more visible. I replace all studio mats with it.
