Too bad it's not bigger. Bought as a gift, I use it very often. It is durable and beautiful but looks quite delicate. It seems to be wearing well though. Not easy to clean inside if you don't have a bottle brush.

I replaced a cheap teapot from the Christmas tree store with this one. It's beautiful but very small. The handle on top is plastic and the instructions say to use it on low heat so it doesn't melt. My biggest concern is that when the water boils it will splash out of the spout all over the stove! You have to stand there and watch, otherwise the water is everywhere! upset.

This is just the cutest kettle ever! YES, it's small (I was a little surprised knowing the measurements and reading the reviews) BUT absolutely perfect for me as I only drink 1 cup of tea or coffee at a time anyway. The design is just fantastic and I am very happy with my purchase. The smaller size just makes it much prettier. :) I hope the comparison helps!

I have to admit I am very disappointed with this kettle. I don't usually write reviews; However, I would feel terrible if I knew anyone got burned while using this product. The pot itself is very attractive, apart from being a bit dangerous. When I first used it, water spurted out of the spout when I poured my tea. I'm glad nobody was in the line of fire, it certainly wouldn't be good.

It actually holds less than a liter of water which is very disappointing as it had to replace what actually held a liter of water. What's even more disappointing is that just after the one-month return period expired, the top of the lid shattered and white plastic was seeping out. So in case you're wondering, it can't handle the heat of a small stovetop burner, and it's by no means all stainless steel. I feel terrible as this was part of a meaningful Valentine's Day gift.

It has to be the perfect teapot size! Based on all the other reviews I was expecting it to be a lot smaller than it was. For me this is the perfect size! The lid "snaps" into place, preventing it from loosening when pouring. The handle gets a little warm, but not hot. Too warm to water with bare hands so potholders or towel required. I have a gas stove, so I don't know if it has something to do with the handle heating up. Would buy again!

Although the size and color are excellent, the functionality of this pot is CRASH! The lid is very difficult to remove, the metal handle is too hot to hold without a stand, and the handle on the lid breaks. So with the 30 day return policy I was scammed to return. It's a piece of junk. Don't repeat the same mistake! I needed a small kettle for my elderly relative to fetch herself but it is too hot and now it cracks and looks awful. save your money look elsewhere :(

I thought it was bigger (hence my fault) but the kettle is very small. There is no line or maximum level indicator. Unlike other kettles without a whistle, no steam can be released when boiling. If you (or someone not used to using this kettle) boil water with the lid closed, you'll be greeted with a jet of boiling water coming out of the spout. The handle gets hot. I'd say it's an $8 kettle at best, in a small kettle just above the boiling point of water. It's very cute and I love that it comes with a tea diffuser. It's also the perfect size for a cup or two, which was exactly what I was looking for. The lid is difficult to remove, making the water awkwardly boiling at all ends. Also, it gets hot when cooking, so you don't want to touch it at all. This makes adding a tea diffuser difficult. In addition, water flows from above when watering. The handle…
