Great for pastels

This is a black paper drawing pad. Sheets measure 8 3/8" x 11 7/8" after separation by micro-perforation. 80 lb paper in jet black. Binding - double metal spiral. The front cover is made of thick cardboard and the back cover is made of 1/16 inch thick cardboard. The paper was made in China. I have used this pastel paper with great success. Great for learning about light

I'm learning how to use different lighting techniques. I only use white chalk paste for this, so of course I need black paper. I like this newspaper very much and it is very useful for me. Much easier than painting the canvas with plaster and waiting forever for it to dry, not to mention minimal mess, just using good quality black paper.
