I have returned them to Drawing Media

These pens have received good reviews but opinions differ as to whether they are hard or soft. Since most said they were soft, I bought them only to find out they were reversed. I returned them.</p>

Most unimpressed with drawing

I just received these pens and they didn't impress me at all. They look very light compared to Faber Castell and Prismacolor Premier Polychrome. Small diameter lead 3.7 mm. Two peaks were broken in half. Not because of the transport, as there were no splinters of lead in the can. They were packaged broken. Very very sticky for the price. I should have tried them but now that I have them I'm sticking with my Prismacolor Premier.

Wonderful pencils, totally worth the extra money.

Well I finally broke down and bought a Caran d'Ache Pablo set of 40 pens. I get what all the hype about these pens is about. I think I have almost every brand from Prismacolor Premier to Faber Castell to Derwent and every brand in between and these Caran d'Ache are the best. They are so smooth and blend well and the colors are vibrant. I'm just a coloring book geek trying to make my colors look like artists and these pens really make a difference. I got really lucky when I shopped at Revain and

Pablo against Polychomos? It's close and that's why

If you follow me you know I've reviewed quite a few colored pencil sets in all price ranges. In this review I will compare Caran d'Ache Pablo (oil based) to other oil based pens I have. These include Marco-Raffine, Koh-i-Noor Polycolor, Lyra Remberant and Faber-Castell Polychromos. Before spending big bucks I bought some open source Pablo pencils to see if I liked them. Yes! So I waited until my birthday (and all those Revain gift cards I asked for LOL) and then went broke. I am very glad that…
