Too many cons. in speaker

A very bright cover that cannot be turned off. Constant clicking when switching the source between volume and volume (that doesn't happen with any other soundbar) - it seems like Creative is trying to turn it off at this point, but with such noise - terrible. For some reason, it constantly claps in the ears, even at the slightest sound. And this bar is very quiet. When using treadmills, for example, it is not even audible at the maximum setting.

Excellent for the money but you get what you paid for.

For a $110 speaker/sub this is very good but don't think you'll be banging on windows with it. It has a very clear sound. If you're using it from a PC, USE USB. Line versus USB day and night. If I only had an AUX input plugged in I would have sent it back and the USB connection really made the budget speaker shine. Creative has delivered good value for money.

Terrible sound quality

What a big disappointment. I've heard better sound quality from 10 year old TV speakers. The unit does not dynamically switch between input sources when active and will constantly indicate which input is active with brightly lit 3/4 letters. The dynamic range of this device is similar to that of a coffee pot. The device's surround sound feature picks up the sound and simply distorts it, regardless of the source. I could improve the dynamic range by sticking cans of Pringles on the TV's existing

This design is more suited to a computer monitor

I bought this for my 43 inch TV because it had good reviews and the subwoofer was narrow to fit my space. In my opinion, the device was not designed for a TV, but for a gamer using a PC monitor. I have other Creative speakers and am happy with their sound, size, reliability and performance. To connect to the TV, I use the optical interface in PCM mode. latest sound formats for TV, but it has good sound. A good product. if it works

Used with an old Sony TV in the bedroom to improve sound/dialogue. And that's exactly what he does. if it works. I had to use an optical cable. It's disappointing that the soundbar works with some video services but not others. When the latter happens there is no sound until I switch back to the TV speakers. Great soundbar/sub for the home office, after setup

I bought this because I was tired of listening to music over surround sound in the living room when I was working in the office. Bass wasn't punchy, mids were muffled, and treble was muffled at lower volumes. I even tried adjusting the equalizer on the phone and soundbar to no avail. Simply that way.
