Disappointed on the first day of receipt

So disappointed. I bought a 5 piece set which I thought would be good quality too. Out of the box, the long, needle-shaped jaws didn't fit, and after a single use on day one, they now almost weigh paper. I received the whole set but I really only needed one specific tool to install the stabilizer arms. Very disappointed and will ask the seller to send a replacement long needle pliers. Keep for updates.

Pros
  • Angled tooth pattern for better grip
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Very similar to the Vise-Grip brand

Premium (quality and price) brands such as Grip-On or Knipex. I would say overall they are very, very close to the original Vise-Grip brand. I'd say I'd put them between the American Peterson Vise grips and those who currently import them from China. The weight and feel are about the same, as is the locking mechanism. I focus on jaw hardness in my ranking. They seem a little better than a Chinese vise, but not exactly Nebraska. They were a bit cheaper than the imported Vise-Grip brands so I…

Pros
  • After installing the initial grip, the pliers can be further tightened by turning the adjustment screw with the Allen key
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Erg! Cheap! fits vise and locking pliers

Others were saying the same thing but I was hoping I'd have luck. you crescent! They should be one of the most modern instrument companies, but that's just another cheap foreign junk. (in my case it was a classic tension spring for drum brakes). The small piece of red plastic on the locking lever broke and began slipping off another small pair of parrot-like pliers. like the cheap ones I already had in my tool box. I bought these because the locking pliers are one of those last-chance tools…

Pros
  • Thumbscrew is easy to turn by hand or with an Allen key inserted into the Allen key socket on the bottom of the screw
Cons
  • Legacy model
