Great boots! in Sports

I bought these primarily for kayaking. I thought I might use them when walking in very cold water as well. I am very impressed. They have very thick neoprene that insulates really well against the cold. The zip is of course water permeable, but there is a neoprene gusset behind it to catch any water that seeps through. The bottom is very strong and I suspect it will hold up well to walking on rocks. In general I am very satisfied. By the way, the size seemed to fit, but they fit well once you…

Pros
  • 5mm neoprene construction
Cons
  • Empty

Good profile, good fit, good quality

These neoprene Cressi boots are very good. What I like most about them is that they have a nice hard profile that protects my feet. I'm a 12ft size with medium calf size and they are a bit loose which is contrary to what some of the reviews claim. I don't mind a little loose as I only use them to get in my kayak. They might seem a little pricey, but not as expensive as a doctor's bill for repairing a foot after a sharp piece of coral pierced a cheap, thin-soled boot. I feel my foot is very…

  • Built in sole for extra comfort

Not sure what happened.

Received these two days ago and just found time to view and try them on. The first impression was that they dangled a little by the leg and walked a little for a long time, then I got up. I might as well put a big sock over my foot. Then investigation.1. What was supposed to be Isla were actually Menorcan boots.2. What should have been a size 10 was actually a size 11.3. What should have been 7mm thick rubber, a meager 3mm.4. Boots that should cost $40 actually only cost $35. I don't know if…

Great product and quality

Great product and great quality. I originally bought a similar product from Camaro but the boots were stiff and the quality was average. Even though they were $10 off I returned them and bought these Cressi boots instead. I'm glad I did. The quality is much better and the material is more flexible. Also prompt delivery! Update: Great product and kept my feet warm in 50F water. The zipper came open while snorkeling and water got into my boots. I couldn't get it to stay buttoned up in the water…

Pros
  • The thickness of the boot provides durability while keeping you warm.

Great for some but not for those seeking water retention.

Generally a great boot for diving and rocky beach/coast walks. They are comfortable, have a non-slip sole and are well sewn. Lots of people will like them. The only thing I didn't like was that each shoe has two drainage holes. This is useful if you get in and out of the water frequently, but it completely neutralizes the neoprene's anti-wash properties and causes me to lose a really lot of heat. In the winter my job sometimes requires me to swim in 40-50F water in Long Island Sound and stay…

Pros
  • The thickness of the boot provides rigidity while retaining warmth.
Cons
  • Vulgarity

The best water boots for the price!

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! First, I'm a gold digger, so I walk a lot and needed water boots that not only protect my food from cold water, but also stand up to sharp rocks. I bought these boots based on another review here mentioning how well they do with volcanic rock, I figured if they did well there they would also do well in freshwater streams which is where I would use them AND THEY ARE! :) These boots are far superior to any water shoe you will find at Wal-Mart, Big 5 or any other water shoe…

Pros
  • Super stretch neoprene for comfort.

Good boots are best for water sports

I bought these specifically for sea-dooing in cold weather. On my first ride in them, the air temp was 37F with a water temp of 40F. As long as I wasn't constantly submerged, the boots kept my feet warm enough that I was able to work non-stop to keep warm. The outsole worked incredibly well as I like to put the car in the back and have a foothold of about 70 degrees, my foot has never slipped out of the footwell on the car. The size was good. The construction seems good but I'm not familiar…

Pros
  • Integrated fin strap holder
Cons
  • Problems

Finally a boot that fits perfectly.

I have Cressi open back fins and it was very difficult for me to find the right boot that fits the cavity of the fin, doesn't interfere with the deployment of the fin on the exit ladder and most importantly one that stands still cozy and comfortable. I'm a true size 12 (and maybe even a bit on the side 12+) and ordered the appropriate size inside the boot. Fits perfectly. The zipper is of high quality and the sole seems sturdy enough to withstand the sanding of the water at the beach with boots

Pros
  • Integrated fin strap holder.
Cons
  • Running speed

These boots are warm and fit perfectly; even around the ankle

I read the low star reviews so I wanted to write my own because some of the reviews almost put me off and I really missed out on some super good diving boots. So, here's the scoop. I dive for work and play A LOT in San Diego. Cold water. it is winter now. Got 7mm. You didn't disappoint us. My feet were probably the warmest part of my body lol. In the past I've bought cheap $10/$15 pairs on Craigslist and haven't given boots much thought. But I saw the price and because they're not that far from
