We bought these to prepare for a family vacation where we will have the opportunity to go snorkeling. I highly recommend that your kids practice in the pool before using it in the ocean if they have never snorkeled before. It helps a ton! The mask and snorkel are perfect! If I were to buy this again I would buy these and look for separate fins that come with rubber socks. This hose arrived defective, the top plug did not fit the rails. So it doesn't go in and out properly. While diving. But we're going on vacation, so I stuck with it. I was able to get the fork back on the rails, but it kept popping out of place during our ride. At one point it looked like it was broken beyond repair and I panicked that the trip was ruined (as we were snorkeling in a very remote location).
