Creuset Compact Lever Pink Review

This wine opener works as advertised and opens wine quickly and easily. Before beginning the opening sequence, you need to ensure that the device is properly aligned. But after aligning the opener works perfectly.

A well made product with an elegant design. Having used several very good openers over the years, this is by far the best of the bunch. Does what it's supposed to do every time. No "Sturm und Drang". Expensive, but hey - this is industrial art.

I'll see how it holds up if I go through them fairly quickly (the metal pin detaches from the handle). It runs very smoothly and feels very good in the hand. Nice to look at. It is redder than the orange pictured in this listing.

As another reviewer pointed out, the Le Creuset Compact Lever wine opener is a very sleek industrial design. I love that it looks so much better than the Upright Rabbit and its very strong connection is designed so I don't think it will ever fail. However, for more than double the price of the Vertical Rabbit, it should work perfectly.
