Not as useful as I expected

Good quality but they get very hot if not touched. I find I have to use them more like a glove (only put them on when moving the pan or oven) which defeats the purpose for me.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • For seniors

They do not attach to handles

These are nothing more than silicone potholders. They are not attached to the handles. They fit on top of the handles, but after you pick up a hot pan, they come loose and you put them back in the drawer. You could also use a kitchen pot holder you have for $20.

Pros
  • Always Popular
Cons
  • No Mold Required

No Handle, Handle: Cookware Accessories

I've dropped a cast iron pan with these handles twice. Although they protect from heat, they could probably use some ribs inside (as well as outside) as the current smooth silicone surface that actually touches the pot allows the pot to slide.

Pros
  • Worth the Money
Cons
  • Fits

Probably best for people with really strong hands

They feel very unreliable and slippery. I'm afraid I'll drop a dutch oven full of hot food every time I use them. I miss the old fabrics, at least they felt secure around the handles and I always felt like I had a good grip. The only benefit is that they are easier to clean than fabric.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Plain potholders are good for cookware Accessories

I just bought a new Le Crueset pot with a glass lid. The handles get very hot when cooking on the stove. I ordered these pens hoping they would take care of this issue. It's a thick silicone press that fits snugly and snugly on this particular pan. I noticed that the silicone grips still get quite hot! I checked my thermometer and it read 129-130 F. Still hot but I managed to get over it quickly. It reached this temperature after 20 minutes of cooking on low heat. I recommend using these oven…

Pros
  • Feel good
Cons
  • Not the best
