Hi everyone, I wanted to give this rating to all of you with the crf230f if you are looking at these pens. They fit great, look great and are very easy to put on. The only thing I had to change is the 2 steel inserts, they don't insert from the derailleur side of the bike, but they give 5 extra steel inserts, so if you hit two 8-32 holes, they fit perfectly.

Installed on the Honda CRF 230. It's so important. Truly a must for any serious driver. It's way better than the stock footpegs. They probably won't take as much abuse as regular ones, but they're bigger, lighter, and have a lot more grip. You may need new pens and reuse old nibs, so don't waste them. The installation only takes a few minutes.

2005 CRF80 Good Fit, Easy Install. As expected, no additional hardware or parts were supplied with these footpegs, just use what you have. Just in case, you can buy new (small) cotter pins. If you are buying these for the Sur-Ron X (Light Bee) you will need springs to fit properly . Cane pins have two high sides, they have one high side (for snap closure). This means that the left and right sides need a left and right spring. Sur-Ron tends to use the same nib for both sides, this works for one side but not the other. Update #2: Still junk. Too soft and won't withstand a bike crash. I will look for a replacement for something decent as soon as possible. Addendum: garbage. They look good and the installation was fine. The first time the bike fell slightly on its left side, now it's bent and crooked. I don't know what aluminum it's made of, but it's very soft.
