GREAT! suitable for protective equipment

Super bargain! This helmet looks and feels like much more expensive helmets and does it very well! Comes with a clear screen - spent an extra $30 for an Iridium screen and love it! The padding is good, a bit stiff but comfortable. I'm comfortable - I'm wearing a small - I ordered a small - I know if the helmet breaks it's perfect. Also, the amount of external noise that is canceled is REALLY amazing! I thought it would be noisy with lots of wind noise - not at all! On the contrary. And the…

Need Alan's key to swap out the visor.

I like the helmet but because the pads move inside the helmet it feels loose when it doesn't. It feels a little thin. I like the looks. I didn't like that I needed an Alan Key to replace my visor every time I use it with parts I could lose in the exchange. I put on a tinted visor and the pin holding the visor in place scratches the visor. It's ok for now but I see potential problems with this whole Alan Key situation, if I need to quickly switch to Clear and I don't have an Alan Key or lose the

Fine ". in protective gear

-Pros--Light weight-Great styling-High quality color-Comfortable padding-Perfect size-Cons-Very difficult to open lens (almost impossible with gloves)-VERY easy to fog after on top - the chin padding in this area has a lot of fibers sticking out and it tickles my chin and drives me crazy - the view through the glass isn't perfect - a lot of noise inside the helmet - doesn't cover the chin very well - protects you probably not even very good in a fall - chunky (it's light but looks very big…

Good helmet for an Asian fit. Round heads

I usually can't find a helmet that fits my head. From above it is round rather than oval. Although my head size is 61-63cm I went with the 4xl which was 67-68cm and am glad I did because it fits better than anything else I have tried. There are no longer any noticeable pressure points on the crown. Pros: Ideal for round/Asian heads. Lightweight, but not exactly cheap. The projection foam is beautiful and durable. Sufficiently durable material. I dropped it on a tile floor and there were no…

Size Mismatch - Helmets

I wear an XL or XXL helmet depending on the helmet type. All my 1/2 motorcycle helmets are XL and full face helmets are XXL, my other 3/4 helmet I used for drag racing was XL. I ordered the XXL because I need a full face helmet for the new class I will be riding in and they also need the SFI headgear. I ordered a single layer sock and ordered this helmet a size XXL to accommodate the extra layer of fabric. An average quality helmet that you would expect for the price but the build quality is…

No visor bone but great customer service

Conforms to the size chart. I measured for a large and it fits perfectly. Great looking helmet. Probably not the most durable helmet but much better than my current dotless helmet. It also doesn't look too big for its size. The outer shell is proportional. All in all, this is a good helmet at an affordable price. ***Update*** So I have to change my rating after wearing it for the past few days. The day before I got this helmet I was stung in the corner of my eye by a bee so I figured it would…

Nice cheap helmet

They say you get what you pay for and that is the case with this helmet. The helmet is definitely a cheaper ($300) version of Simpsons helmets. I bought it with the understanding that the main concern was looks and not safety or functionality. I mean even though it says DOT approved it certainly looks like a brand new helmet. It's very light and comfortable. My $80 DOT half helmet seems better made and more durable than this one. I have another good brand helmet that I got for $120 and the…

Good helmet for the price but there's a reason it's so cheap

UPDATED: I've had the helmet for a year now. After about 4-6 months of daily use, the small threaded rod holding the visor position switch fell apart. The nut on the inside of the helmet now rattles inside and won't pull out. The visor can be adjusted to hold in certain spots, but it doesn't lock into place. I've included the picture and removed a star as for the price it's still a good looking and good looking helmet. Pretty good helmet for a small price. You definitely get what you pay for. I

Bike helmet, great fit.

This helmet is cool! Especially for the price. The finish is comfortable and fits like a glove. My head measures 58 so I bought the medium according to the size chart and it's perfect. I have over 20 helmets (various brands and styles) and this one is the right size. I think I have a pretty neutral head shape so I don't feel any pressure points in this helmet at all. For what it's worth in terms of fit/shape, the new Bell brand helmets don't fit me. I think they have a rather round head shape…
