Review on DOT Certified CRG Fiberglass Full-Face Street Bike Motorcycle Helmet - ATV-1 (With Extra Large Size) by Isaac Ismail

They say you get what you pay for and that is the case with this helmet. The helmet is definitely a cheaper ($300) version of Simpsons helmets. I bought it with the understanding that the main concern was looks and not safety or functionality. I mean even though it says DOT approved it certainly looks like a brand new helmet. It's very light and comfortable. My $80 DOT half helmet seems better made and more durable than this one. I have another good brand helmet that I got for $120 and the material seems to be of better quality than this one. some protection, much better than a skull helmet. But if you're more of a freeway driver I wouldn't count on it protecting you from a hard impact. I didn't drive that much at all. Note: GoPro is mounted well. I also added a tinted visor as pictured, installation was no problem. Make sure it fits nice and tight so it works as intended. I'm sure it will require adjustments over time. One of the screws that hold the visor is a bit rusty, I bought new ones from the hardware store that I like. never mind
