Forget our time, this is my time!

So I bought this slow cooker the same day I filled out my profile on a popular dating site for singles over 50. Unfortunately I was rejected because I was "in my thirties" and "married". Also, having a pot big enough to cook soup for weeks isn't as appealing to the elderly as I thought. Although I still like it.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Little things

Appearance gets very hot

This is a really great multi cooker and it does exactly what you expect it to. I'm deducting a star because the outer metal of the oven gets hot enough to burn your hands. This is not a problem for my husband and I as we no longer have young children, but after raising three children and helping with nine grandchildren I was afraid that they might be burned. Keep it out of their reach and you've got a great slow cooker.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • So far so good

nice and easy to use

looks great on the counter. The controls are very easy to use. We made a 5 pound chicken recipe from the book. It came out great but a bit dry because I think the automatic timer was taking too long to cook it. Next time I'll turn off autoconfiguration. I will manually time the next chicken. This replaced a 20 year old slow cooker. Size 6 liters just right. 4 is not enough and 8 liters is VERY much. That's a really good pot. Feel free to buy this one. The price is right when you compare them…

Install it and forget it!

I have been using multicookers for more than 20 years. My first had a preset on the controls that cooked on high for 2 hours then switched to low. I always thought it was the best I've ever had. I bought Mytime after reading all the features. This is an amazing record. It does exactly what you want your slow cooker to do. Put your food inside. Set the time you want dinner to be ready and that's it! I have used this cooker for chicken and beef stew so far. Both turned out great. You must read…

Boiling Low!: Small Appliances

I tried two recipes using this new slow cooker, first using the My Time feature as I was home all day just to see how it did would be to cook. It looked great halfway through, but I noticed that it simmered quickly, and by the end of the set time I chose, my meatballs were black and burned. Well I thought I needed more time to work on this feature but tonight I just went with the manual option and set it to 6 hours for my pork chops. Half way, as I saw in my time, it started to boil. I had to…
