Cross Stitch Kit Beginners Always Review

Great project for beginners. I liked that everything is included in the kit, that there is a link to a video tutorial on cross stitching. Create a decorative border. I had to figure this part out on my own and it took me a little work to figure it out.

I don't know why everyone says the instructions are so easy. There are virtually no instructions to follow! They'll show you the stitch pattern, but you obviously need to know something about cross stitch to follow it. This should absolutely not be called a newbie. The instructions are too vague for someone who has never done this before. I was so excited to try this but have no idea where to even begin. Really unhappy.

I bought this set to make for a friend who loves HP. The pattern and materials were great and it was a very quick project. I probably have enough thread left over to make a second one. My only criticism is that this is advertised as a beginner's project but doesn't come with great instructions on how to finish the border of the bookmark.
