I like the idea of reading what time it is in the middle of the night. I am disabled and when I wake up I want to know the time. But in the pics it's 5:32 and it looks like the numbers are drunk. I only bought it to project the time on the ceiling above my bed. I've seen some of these at friends' houses. The projected time on this one is much brighter than the others. Some may find this less than desirable. Mine protrudes 8 feet from the head of the bed to the domed popcorn ceiling. Once the focus is adjusted, it's both legible and bright. All I wanted was a clear projection of the current time over my bed at night. This device does the job perfectly without the unnecessary (expensive) extras. I have a bedside clock that I'm happy with, so I didn't care that it's just an honest clock.
