Good product suitable for gearbox and transmission

I recently broke the original shift boot frame when replacing the clutch on my '97 Jeep TJ. The price at the local dealer was $49. Revain had a $29 OEM if I remember correctly and they had an 8 krona unit. The crown fits perfectly and snaps in easily, a real bargain for the price.

Perfect for my 98 TJ

The OEM bezel broke once and was annoying when it regularly popped out of its seat. Then it broke in second place and became completely unusable. I was a bit apprehensive reading the reviews on this but decided to take a chance. Fits perfectly. Booting went smoothly and correctly. Then he got up and hasn't moved since.

  • Spares
Cons

Perfect fit for switches and parts

I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ and the trunk fits perfectly and the bezel is cut exactly where it should be. My old one apparently broke and was glued back together before I bought my Jeep and it crashed the other day when my rear derailleur was stubborn from my clutch being on the verge of failure. Anyway, great product, quick easy and very easy fix.

Pros
  • Switches and parts
Cons
  • Almost never

so I'll probably make a new one from the best

in my car they break down all the time. It was broken when I bought it, so I replaced it. After that I had to do some more work on the gearbox, which required dismantling the shift boot. It broke on careful removal. I welded it to JB and it worked until I had to disassemble the gearbox again (same problem, unresolved). When I pulled it out to remove the boot I saw it was broken elsewhere! Maybe my car is kind of particularly hostile to this thing, but I think it's just brittle/old plastic. I…
