6 GALLON CAPACITY- The portable Crown Berkey System effortlessly filters water for about 6-12 people each day. Add additional Black Berkey Elements (the Crown Berkey System can hold a maximum of 8) to increase the flow rate. The system is just 30” tall and 11” in diameter. FILTERS TYPICAL CONTAMINANTS THAT COULD BE PRESENT IN TAP WATER AND RAW, FRESHWATER SOURCES SUCH AS LAKES, RIVERS AND PONDS- Choose only Black Berkey Elements. There are no substitutes for Berkey performance and quality. FLUORIDE AND ARSENIC REDUCTION- Berkey PF-2 Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements are designed for use in conjunction with Black Berkey Elements to adsorb fluoride, arsenic(V) and pre-oxidized arsenic(III), and other residual typical heavy metal ions. ECONOMICAL, LONG-LASTING- A pair of Black Berkey Elements lasts for up to 6,000 gallons before replacement is recommended, depending on the quality of influent water. Each additional pair of elements (sold separately) adds an additional 6,000 gallons of contaminant reduction to your system before replacement is recommended. Berkey PF-2 Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements should be replaced after 1,000 gallons of use, under normal conditions. INDEPENDENT TESTING- Berkey Water Systems has used several independent third-party labs to test a broad range of typical contaminants found in freshwater sources including tap water, and has conducted Extreme Testing for lead and PFCs in order to show the effectiveness of Black Berkey Elements.

Even our dog can tell the difference!

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves and buy a Berkey filter after trying his sister's Big Berkey water a few months ago. We are absolutely amazed at Berkey's ability to filter all contaminants from our tap water. Now our drinking water literally tastes like NOTHING. We've even noticed that our dog is drinking more water since we switched to Berkey! Quality product, great performance. Easy to use. Reliable. Standup seller

I've been using it for about two months. I refilled the black primary filters with no problems, but had trouble cleaning the original PF-2 fluoride filters. Both took about 20 minutes versus the prescribed 30 seconds. I placed a clear glass under the running water and watched until the water became clear. I called the seller, advised him, said that this is not normal and they sent him a new set of Berka. The replacement filters were cleared in about 30 seconds so thanks for the quick service. I

Noticeable difference in water quality

My wife and I bought it because our tap water is visibly dirty. We live next to a copper mine and a huge garbage dump. It seems clear that a lot of sewage and pollution from such sources ends up in the water supply. This filter has been providing us with great tasting, drinkable water for several months now.
