    Excellent universal replacement

    This is an excellent generic. Fits perfectly on my Dyson DC17 and works just as well as the original roller wheel. There are no problems with product exchange. Good price for this item. I highly recommend.

    Everything started well, but over time it only got worse

    I bought the brush on February 22, 2017. In the beginning everything was fine, but over time it only got worse. Original Dyson brush lasted 10 years, this brush lasted less than 3 months. Today's warehouses are so noisy that nobody can be in the same room as a vacuum.

    Wrong belt in this set.

    Brush fits perfectly, belt is wrong. It's about 3/4 wide. Shown on the left is the original Dyson strap, on the right is the strap that came with this order. During installation it creaked very loudly. I just put my old belt back in and fixed the problem. Do not buy this kit.

    Gear disassembled into vacuum cleaner parts and accessories

    I've been using it for a little over a year and we don't use the vacuum very often. The cog being driven by the felt breaks/loosens so the belt is essentially only driven by friction on a flat surface and a splitter which I believe held the cog in place. Seems to be a design flaw that could be related to rings or gears of different models. One end also fell off where the camp is located. I uploaded a photo of an old brush with the gear intact and it has disappeared from the review.
