Cruiser Accessories 73400 Bubble Shield Review

Bought for my blue car to make number plates less visible and also to protect number plates (and registration stickers) from theft. I also had these 15 years ago but they were brittle and cracked when I installed them.

This is for my new 2016 Honda Accord. The only problem is that they break very easily. So use a hand screwdriver because my husband used a drill and that was too much force causing them to snap. I wanted something that would cover my license plate and vanity so all those bugs wouldn't splatter on my plate.

These are good, strong and clear license plate protectors. The only downside is that they aren't flat, they're dished in the front, which makes them stick out about 3 inches from the bumper. It's not too much to think about if you like everything else. I covered mine in car wax when I put it on the car so maybe that will help keep the bugs away. Good buy for the money. tomg

Love this clear sign I have bought twice! The one on the left was bought in 2016. It turned yellow over time (only the front number, not the rear). It's also durable; he could take some damage from other vehicles crashing into my car. My lid is more damaged than my car is damaged! Over time decided to replace. My last car was tinted Pepboys Blue. The durability of this cover was 5 stars and it was thick, durable plastic. So I bought a new car and wanted blue tinted covers. Saw them on Amazon and was amazed. I ordered them and they came in the mail. I open the box and take it out to feel it. To see how durable they are. No way! Like cheap plastic. Paper thin and I wasn't happy.

The first thing I had to do when I received this was to make sure it was really blue. Mine are VERY light blue; There are no photos of sellers, not even close. I had to open it up and put it against a clean white wall to see if it was actually painted blue. I'm not thrilled with this product but it protects against inclement weather/UV rays. The plastic also looks a bit "wavy" and fuzzy. Doesn't affect the reading of the plate but if you hold it up to a light or the light hits it directly…
