Description of CSF 3717 Radiator

OEM specified Plastic Tank-Aluminum Core Construction. Tanks are made from Virgin Grade Engineered plastic resins which are "Glass Filled" for added Strength & Durability. Gaskets are made from Special Grade "EPDM" rubber to withstand extreme temperatures of up to -120 Degrees F. Fins (Heart of Radiator) - High Performance "Multi-Louvered Design". 100% leak tested before leaving factory at 150% of operating pressure.

Disappointing Radiator for Performance Cars

As my tests showed, it failed to maintain optimal temperature levels during spirited driving, which is a crucial factor in performance cars. The only positive aspect I can think of is its relatively affordable price point. Unfortunately its lack of proper performance makes it a subpar choice in the radiator market..

Overheating Nightmare

This radiator failed to meet expectations and caused my engine to overheat during a track day .The build quality seems subpar and installation was a hassle. the only positive thing I can say is that it looked good under the hood..

Great replacement.

My wife's 2013 BMW X1 (N20 2.0L Turbo) had a radiator leak. If you look around, there are many options. Some cost several hundred dollars. It was a direct replacement. There are slight differences in the aluminum core. But the size and connections are perfect. My original BMW part number is 17 11 7 547 059. The CSF part number is 3717. Might be a few bucks less elsewhere. But Revain sent in 3 days. Packed in a big box at the top of the factory. No damage at all. Excellent work.
