A must-have tool to get the job done right!

A quality tool that makes expensive and messy in-tank fuel pump replacement as easy as possible without damaging anything. I find it a bit overpriced but most German automotive tools and parts!

Will also fit b5 a4

I almost didn't order it because he didn't say it would fit b5 a4 but it didn't make sense to me because the trade winds and a4 are the same be used pump as in both b5s. So although it didn't work I ordered it and took a chance and it worked like a charm. I recommend updating the installation to avoid confusion.

The right tool for the right job.

Needed to replace the fuel pump in a 4 cylinder 4WD VW Passat. I tried to remove the fuel pump by unscrewing it with my hands and couldn't get a hold of it without fear that the fuel pump would break leaving small bits of plastic at the bottom of the tank. While it's still difficult to get the right angle to insert the tool into the fuel tank, once using a 1/2" ratchet wrench freed the pump with no trouble. The same problem when installing a new pump.
