🚗 CTEK (56-915) Bumper in Black Review

I'm glad I bought the rubber bumper. Good rubber and not hard plastic. Fits perfectly and prevents your smart charger from sliding around.

This CTEX bumper is a great case for CTEX 40-206 4.3 amp. It fits snugly and the rubbery texture of the lid keeps the charger from sliding off surfaces easily.

Good accessories to protect and prevent slipping. This also fits CTEK (40-206) MXS 5.0 after removing two tiny rubber feet from it.

It's like putting on a thick sock in the morning. But once it's on, tug on each of the corners to get it seated. I bought two for each of my CTEK chargers. Both have the same case design so installation was easy every time.

Does what it's supposed to do: provides cushioning and horizontal stability on flat surfaces. The construction is, as expected, a thick rubber material that fits the 4.3's body perfectly, but certainly isn't worth anywhere near 1/8th the cost of the Charger itself. I would buy it again as I need the functionality and there are no other options.

I bought it so as not to scratch the fender. It does the job. Stretches to fit snugly around your charger. I hope it protects the charger body from scratches when left in the engine bay. I also added a coat hanger to hang on my hood so the lights at the top can be seen from the side so I can better see the condition when I enter the garage.

Recently purchased 2 CTEK chargers; 40-206 MXS 5.0-12 and (56-926) LITHIUM for my Shorai lithium batteries in my Corvette Z06 and ZX14 bikes. This case fits both chargers perfectly and protects both the charger and your car/motorcycle paint. It also prevents slipping. I have had an old 3300 CTEK model for many years and despite very careful treatment it is scratched and no longer works properly. Should have invested in this cover a few years ago.

Purchased to protect my battery from accidentally falling off when I need to move things around the garage. I'm very careful about it, but sometimes things like this happen. This seems to offer protection and prevent shaking something too hard or damaging the corner of the device. It fits well although maybe a little loose, I would have preferred it to be entirely rubber at the bottom and sides and only open at the top but as the corners/edges are fairly well protected.
