Don't worry, avoid this company at all costs. Get your Optima Digital or NoCo charger!

I have high hopes for this charger, but it didn't quite revive a recently dead battery, it just needed a long charge. It took forever and I had run out of patience after 24 hours of continuous charging. The display was blurry. I also bought an Optima Digital 1200 and it's a beast. The battery was charged in 6 hours and the engine started normally. The digital display is sufficiently detailed at every stage. I already had an Optima Digital 400 and it's great! So why such a low rating? I've tried

Worth the price

Simple tips (which are not in the manual or video) 1) CHECK THE BATTERY: Do not plug in the CTEK MUS 4.3 (power) sockets, just plug them into the battery and Switch the mode to the appropriate mode you want to check. 2) Charging the battery: plug in the socket, fix the battery, choose the appropriate mode. I had a DISCHARGE battery. I primed it with the right mix of Epson salt + distilled water. I plugged in an old charger that put out a steady 2 amps for 24 hours (no coverage). Once it…

7 step procedure to charge and restore a 12 volt battery

My 2015 Porsche Cayenne S e-Hybrid is three years old. The 12 volt batteries in all my previous cars died exactly four years later. This time I wish that the 12-volt battery in the Cayenne (which, by the way, is located under the driver's seat) lasted much longer. Great charger for car storage and RECOND batteries

MUS 4.3 Test & Charge is my second CTEK product (first was Lithium US for my motorcycle). Please note that I may be slightly biased (not affiliated/sponsored by anyone). I purchased this unit specifically to maintain charge in stored vehicles and to charge batteries in vehicles for daily driving. According to the user manual, CTEK recommends a REOPERATION once a year or whenever the battery is completely discharged. Battery tests are bullshit, so what else is wrong with this charger?

This Ctek charger is available in two versions, one with trial features and one without. I regret spending extra money on the test features as they are practically useless as I will explain below. As for the charger, I have no doubt that with regular use, such as long term storage, or if you live in cold latitudes, it will probably perform as well or even better than the old float chargers.
