Fun 3D puzzle to display!

I'm an adult and this is my first 3D puzzle. It was fun. The instructions were a little non-descript in places, but nothing special. A few details didn't seem to fit together perfectly. But it all worked and looked beautiful. Ludwig II of Bavaria was deposed and assassinated in 1886, in part because of his fascination with building fairytale castles, including Neuschwanstein. I'm proud to have completed this version with no ill effects!

Fun but disappointing at times

Overall I was surprised at how durable it was. However, there are two problems: 1) Double-sided tape is terrible. It is almost impossible to remove the layer and get the right size window. I resorted to glue, let it dry and then assembled it. 2) Sometimes some parts don't match and you have to press a little harder which will make the other part pop out. I was never able to tightly fit the two doors on opposite sides. But for $17 it was fun.

Fun and educational

This is our fifth 3D puzzle, so you can see we liked it. Our children aged 9 and 11 assemble them independently in about 1-3 hours, depending on the level of difficulty. Sometimes there are a tab or two that are difficult to hit, but overall the puzzles stacked up nicely. The Empire State Building is interesting because it is a tall model. We've tried models that use glue and they've been terrible. These puzzles are much easier and less frustrating. In addition, children learn about and…

Fun but Challenging 3D Puzzle

I was looking for a fun date night at home that was different than anything my wife and I have done in the past. I came across this 3D puzzle and decided to buy it. The puzzle comes with a beautiful National Geographic insert about Notre Dame. It took us about 4 hours to set it up. My only complaint is the terrible double sided tape they send with it. Use glue stick instead. Also, take your time with some creases so you don't damage the pieces/tabs. I've found that it's easier to fold them…

This can be a tricky puzzle if you've never assembled a 3D puzzle before.

I bought this puzzle for my son because he was making another National Geography puzzle and he really liked it. My son has also been studying Germany for 6 years and I wanted him to have a model of the place we will visit in 2 years. The food game is neatly packaged with a very nice picture book in English but also has castle names in Chinese, German and English. The puzzle came with a second smaller puzzle which my son has not yet completed. It took my son who is 12 years old a few hours to…

Really good except.

This product is really great. One of my biggest criticisms of it is the double-sided tape. The paper you have to tape to one side of the box would be better if they were stickers, but using double-sided tape is more of a chore than a real treat. Also, some small details are lost, but nothing falls off, but it's still a problem. Also, there's a trick at the end, not a riddle, but you have to be a little careful or something will go wrong. But everything else is really good, very easy to assemble

OK but with issues

The kit has a few issues that you should be aware of before purchasing. First, cardboard pieces are arranged on 6 double-sided sheets. The problem is that the numbering leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the numbered pieces are unrelated to the other pieces on the sheet. So if you're looking for item #10, it could be anywhere. Not cool. Another issue is that all stained glass is printed on acetate film. You will need to use the included double-sided tape to "glue" each of the window sections…
