Cuisinart 77-14N Chef's Classic Stainless Steel 14-Piece Set: A Complete Kitchen Essential Review

I am sure these pans will last forever because they are stainless steel. What they don't tell you is that it's impossible to clean these things and bring them back to their original glory. The manufacturer was consulted and said no abrasive cleaners should be used to clean these pans. I figured the only benefit of stainless steel was that it couldn't be damaged by cleaning. Cast iron cleans better. Absolute rubbish.

I've had this set for over 2 years and it still works great. This is my only set and I use it every day. A non-stick pan in the set shows no damage. I am confident that with proper cleaning and care this set will serve me for many years to come. After washing, they still look the same as when you bought them. I think it was a great deal and I would recommend this set to anyone who enjoys cooking and wants something durable and visually appealing.

I received these pots and pans for Christmas, the lid made a rattling noise when unpacked. I saw a shard of glass stuck between the stainless steel rim and the glass top. I was looking for a new set of pots and pans and really wanted stainless steel but after reading the reviews I gave up ALL stainless steel sets omitted because they seemed much more difficult to clean. This set seems to be a very good compromise because it's not that expensive, has some stainless steel parts and some non-stick coatings.
