POS - we returned it

Quality is nowhere worth the price. Your usual Chinese made junk might be a little above average for such a source, but still not a great unit. We returned it and bought it from Bloomingdales for $80 and it was great - it looked like it was carved out of billet aluminum.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Good but cheap pot lid

After this product only lasted 9 months the lid handle just broke off with little or no effort. Unfortunately, this cannot be repaired, so either the entire lid has to be replaced or a completely new kettle has to be replaced. As a Cuisinart, I would not recommend this teapot, no matter what it looks like.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Minor issues

RUST on the bottom and thin stainless steel

I received these and tried to test boiled water too. After that, I saw rust spots on the bottom of the kettle. Unsafe and unhealthy. Stainless steel is also very thin. Not a good buy. So I returned it immediately. I just got food poisoning over the weekend and am recovering. This teapot should not be remembered.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Poor product, best in kitchen and dining room

There have been many kettles in my life and I have never had one that has rusted inside so much that the water came out a dark rusty colour. It's absurd to have a kettle that can't boil water. I've always heard Cuisinart products are good, but I was wrong. I wrote and called their support team and received absolutely no satisfaction. I advise against buying this product.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • So-so

I had this kettle less than a year before I threw it away and replaced it with a whistling kettle, faster boiling baseplate, non-stainless brushed surgical steel whistling kettle, 3 qt. I am very happy with this replacement. The Cuisinart CTK-SS11 Crown teapot was cheaply made, very thin metal. What I didn't like the most was the handle, you need an oven mitt around the pan or you'll burn your hand.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

Finally found my favorite cauldron!

I'm so glad I finally found my favorite kettle! I trust the Cuisinart brand because I've had such good experiences with their other products. This teapot replaced our ridiculous Circulon enamel teapot (which spat out water when poured and started rusting at the spout after a year). I was able to easily remove the lid for washing, but I always fill the kettle through the spout, which is easy too. This is a good reliable product with good sound. I also like that I can open the spout from the…
